Sony collaborates with Theta Labs to launch 3D NFT

Sony and the Theta Labs blockchain network will collaborate to launch NFTs that can be viewed through “augmented reality”. The Sony Spatial Reality Display is a monitor that allows you to see in 3D, without the need for additional accessories.

The device tracks pupil movements and adjusts the display based on body movements. The companies see this as the prospect of creating a bridge that will link the NFT industry and the metaverse with its 3D bias.

So far this is only a pilot project, but it’s likely that a large-scale one should be expected in the near future.
