Elton John x Jadu: NFT collection to raise funds for AIDS Foundation
The legendary musician has partnered with AR gaming platform Jadu for his first NFT drop. The collection includes 35,000 club passes and a 1/1 NFT hoverboard created by Voxel Bunny.
The hoverboard collects elements associated with the musician: the legendary glasses, the piano keyboard, and the board from the pinball machine featured in the “Pinball Wizard” video.
Elton John AIDS Foundation will get all proceeds from the drop.
Time Square in The Sandbox
The Sandbox has announced a collaboration with TIME magazine to create “TIME Square” in the metaverse that captures the spirit of Times Square in NYC.
It will be an exclusive VIP club for TIMEPieces NFT holders. The launch date is still unknown, but the company is already recruiting architects to create the space in The Sandbox.
eBay buys KnownOrigin
Details of the deal were not disclosed. KnownOrigin is one of the first NFT marketplaces built on the Ethereum blockchain. On Twitter, they announced joining eBay, the world’s largest online auction.

TAG Heuer has released the Caliber E4 smartwatch. The company has added an NFT showcase to its classic set of features. Caliber E4 price varies from $1700 to $2500 depending on the model.

Uniswap & Genie
Uniswap Labs has acquired aggregator Genie. The news about Uniswap’s NFT marketplace rained down.
But in fact, it means launching the same NFT platforms aggregator as Genie, but under the brand name Uniswap NFT. Additionally, NFTs will be integrated into Uniswap developer products, APIs, and widgets.
Anyone who used Genie before April 15 or holds a Genie Genesis NFT will get an airdrop to celebrate the event.
Rarible reduces fees
Now buyers and sellers will pay a 1% fee instead of 2.5% across all supported chains. It means NFTs will become a bit cheaper, while sellers will gain more profit.
Also, users can leverage greater liquidity on the marketplace via its ability to aggregate orders from throughout the Rarible protocol.
