Muse is releasing the NFT album

The Will of the People album will be sold via the Serenade platform based on the Polygon blockchain. It’s expected to be the first NFT album to enter the British and Australian charts.

Will of the People’s price is set at £20. Only a limited edition of 1,000 copies will be released. Buyers don’t have to create a wallet in advance. They can buy NFTs with their bank cards, as well as via Bitcoin and Ethereum-based wallets.

NFTiff for CryptoPunk holders

Tiffany & Co decided to allow CryptoPunk owners to get a pendant created featuring their NFT. The collection includes 250 passes priced at 30 ETH each (~ $49,750 at the time of writing). Nothing is surprising about the price since pendants will be made of gold and will be decorated with gemstones and/or diamonds.

In April, Tiffany’s VP Alexandre Arnault showed his pendant with CryptoPunk. The famous NFT collection trading volume soared 1,847% amid the news about branded pendants.

Hackers have accessed the accounts due to an exploit linked to Slope. The Elliptic consultancy says that fraudsters stole over $5.8 million in SOL tokens, over 300 Solana-based tokens, and NFTs.

You can now buy Gucci items with ApeCoin

The famed fashion house will add ApeCoin, a coin from the BAYC collection creators to its payment options. The purchases will be made via the BitPay Wallet app which has recently added support for APE. Thus, Italian brand fans will be able to pay for its items with more than 10 types of cryptocurrencies.

The campus named MetaHKUST will debut on September 1 with mixed VR hosting. A digital classroom will allow students from all over the world to attend lectures across two uni campuses.

According to Professor Pan Hui, the metaverse technology engages students and makes them feel like IRL classrooms, thus making learning more effective.

The Roman Catholic Church in Washington to accept crypto donations

The Archdiocese of Washington has announced a partnership with Engiven, a crypto-donation platform. Users can support the Church with dozens of cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, DOGE, MANA, MATIC, SHIB, USDC, and more.

Parishioners can donate anonymously or provide their data. The Church will get 100% of the donations. They will be directed to develop 139 parishes and 90 Catholic schools, as well as support local charitable programs, such as initiatives to help the needy with food.

Anonymous buyer purchased the NFTs.com domain for $15 million

The deal was executed by Domainer and GoDaddy, with Escrow.com as a trusted third party. The new owner is unknown but is said to be associated with several Web3 projects.

It’s one of the largest domain deals lagging behind only voice.com, which sold for $30 million in 2019. However, NFTs.com surpassed ETH.com, valued at $2 million in 2017.

Domainer representatives called the domain a “phenomenal asset,” stressing that “NFTs are currently laying the foundation for the metaverse and GameFi economy.”
